El Ranchito de los Niños is dedicated to keeping brothers and sisters together in a stable home where they grow into adulthood together. El Ranchito is located in Los Lunas, New Mexico just south of Albuquerque. The 7,200 sq ft ranch home is nestled among 23 acres of rural farm land and home to several animals that are integrated into our program.
We are hiring houseparents.
We will consider single or married couples with the desire to make a difference in the life of children who have experienced abuse and neglect. The position involves living in the home with five days on and two days off each week. 24 hour support staff is provided. Duties include all aspects of raising children in an engaged and loving manner, meal preparation, transportation, and maintenance of the home, general care of indoor and outdoor animals – all with the help of staff and children. Training will be provided. Applicants must be able to pass drug screening, driving and criminal background check.
