Job Listing Policies & Prices
All job listings will include: 1. Up to a 725X125 pixel graphic. 2. An E-mail link to a contact person. 3. A hyper-link to the facility's website. 4. Up to a 300 word description.
Job Listings will be charged at the following rates:
- $125.00 for Three Months
- $225.00 for Six Months
- $375.00 for One Year
Descriptions submitted with word counts in excess of those allowed for the requested listing will be reduced to the limit of the listing by removing all words after the limit is reached. i.e. a listing submitted with a 335 word description would have the last 35 words removed when posting. Oversized job listings (listings with word counts higher than the limit) can be negotiated at a higher price.
Listings will be placed in the order they are received. (All new job listings are placed at the bottom of the listings. You move up the rankings over time by renewing your listings. Those facilities on the first page have been with me for years and continually renew their listings. Although it is a slow process, less than a year for page two, 3-5+ for page one, your listing can receive a very high ranking.) The alternative to this is to tier the cost of job listings, in which facilities could bid on placement. Smaller facilities would never be able to afford to purchase page one or two listings because larger facilities would be able to bid a much higher price for listings.)
To help promote new listings: I will feature all new job listings on the "Newest Job Listings" page where they will remain for at least two weeks. Links to the newest job listings page is on the top of the homepage and also the job listings main page. I also place a link to all new job listings at the top of "The Houseparent Network Facebook" page. https://www.facebook.com/HouseparentNetwork. Facebook page links remain active for at least 3 months.
Listings will be removed after the agreed upon and paid for period of time has expired, unless they are renewed prior to their expiration.
Listings will be posted upon receipt of payment. I accept either a company check, money order, or you may pay through Square Register to speed processing.
I will contact you prior to removing your ad, at expiration to give you an opportunity to renew.
All job listings must be paid for before they will be posted. This includes listings from facilities that have posted in the past as well as facilities posting for the first time.
For those facilities that wish to expedite the payment process you can pay online through Square Register using most credit cards. For those facilities that wish, I can set you up for automatic renewal on a recurring payment through Square Register. E-mail me for details.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: All renewals must be paid online either through Square Register, or Quicken payments. You can pay your renewal on my website payment page with a credit card through Square Register, I can invoice you electronically to pay by credit card through Square Register or by credit card or ACH payment through Quicken Payments. You will have seven (7) days from notification or the job listing expiration date to complete payment, whichever is later. If payment has not been completed in that time period, you listing/advertising shall be removed and any ranking shall be lost.
I will send out an email notification for renewal for all listings and give at least 7 days for you to respond to the notice. If I don't receive a response within that period I will remove your listing. If you wish to ensure that your listing is not removed, I highly recommend setting it up with recurring payments.
I would like to state that I have had no problems with the majority of facilities, and apologize for any inconvenience, but I am having increasing problems in receiving timely payments.
If you purchase a six month or one year job listing, and fill the position prior to the expiration of your job listing, you may bank the ad for use at another time. i.e. If you purchase a six month ad, and fill the position after just two months. You may contact me to bank the ad, and I will remove it and store it for future use. In six months, you need more staff. Contact me and I will repost the ad for the remaining 4 months. HOWEVER, you will lose your ranking. Your ad will be placed in the ranking, as if it were a new job listing.
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
I will accept job listings from residential child care facilities - Children's Homes, Group Homes, Residential Treatment Facilities, Youth Ranches, Maternity Homes, etc. I will also accept listings from homes that care for disabled adults or any other facilities that uses houseparents or live in residential staff.

I currently receive over 35,000 visitors a month. Most facilities are having an excellent response from their job listing with The Houseparent Network. There is a good chance that you will also, however I CANNOT offer any guaranteed response to your job listing.
