Sunshine Acres Children's Home seeks hard-working, fun-loving, trainable and relational married couples to serve as house parents at our Mesa, Arizona campus. Our mission is to provide a loving, wholesome, Christian home for children who are separated from their parents. Only missionary-minded couples of high character who relate well with children ages 4-18 need apply. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enforce home guidelines for behavior and personal growth
  • Provide nurturing and comfort for the children
  • Housecleaning -- have home "tour ready" (see HP Daily Checklist)
  • Attend meals with the children and supervise kitchen clean-up when scheduled
  • Provide morning and evening devotions with the children
  • Attend Chapel services with the children
  • Attend staff meetings and regular meetings with Community Managers
  • Train children in life skills, working with them and teaching by example
  • Supervise the children's play and know their locations at all times, especially on off-campus outings
  • Work closely with Community Managers when disciplinary measures are needed
  • Supervise homework, coordinate tutoring, and communicate with academic administrators and community managers concerning school work

Located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, Solve operates four residential maternity homes which serve pregnant and parenting teens and adults. Each home is staffed by a live-in House Mom / Parents (Monday through Friday) who create a structured and loving home environment where women and children can thrive.

The House Parent position is a key member of our supportive and client focused staff. We are currently seeking mission-minded, responsible, and loving Christian women / couples to serve as live-in House Parents. Must have a heart for serving women and teens who have experienced difficult life circumstances, and through God’s love, provide positive life-skills and redirection. A heart of gold, nerves of steel and a sense of humor are essential.

Responsibilities Include:
• Transportation of residents to medical and educational appointments
• Ensure household care and maintenance is successfully achieved
• Model appropriate home care and parenting to residents
• Oversee household calendar and scheduling
• Participate in daily and weekly staffing meetings as required
• Organize and dispense donations as needed
• Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed
• Respond to emergency situations as needed
• Monitor resident chores
• Dispense medications as directed by DCF requirements
• Conduct fire drills
• Ensure home meets health and DCF department requirements
• Help to facilitate resident obligations such as social welfare programs, medical & therapy appointments.
Minimum Requirements:
• Must be 23 years of age or older and have a personal relationship with Christ.
• Be in possession of a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience, safe driving record and automobile insurance,

• Pass a Level 2 Background Screening

Program Overview
Discovery Home at Denver Children's Home is a group home that functions like a family. The program houses teenagers between the ages of 12-20 years of age. The House Parent will encourage increasing individual independence, and focus on education or vocational training, choice, and community integration for each client. Services are provided in the most inclusive, least restrictive, community-based fashion while meeting the individual's needs and helping them work towards their goals. The goal for our youth and young adults is to work towards emancipation, returning home, or establishing stable housing.

House Parent Overview
Discovery Home is seeking a full-time live-in House Parent. The House Parent/s will supervise and act as a role model for youth/young adults that live in the home. The group home parent will create and ensure that a physically and emotionally safe environment is provided for the youth. Room and board as well as access to the Group Home car are included in this position.
As a House Parent, you will work closely with each resident, teaching basic living skills, assisting with homework, and overseeing chores and meal preparation. You will also be an active participant in community outings, leisure activities, and other recreational activities daily.

The House Parent/s will supervise and act as a positive role model for residents. Due to the unique nature of the position, Denver Children's Home will consider a married couple for this position.

Salary and Benefits

Denver Children's Home offers a competitive salary depending on your experience and education level. The salary range for this position is between 50,000 – 52,000.00 per year. In addition to your salary, full-time employees are eligible for a very generous benefits package.  Miracle Farm Boys Ranch is looking for an Assistant Administrator/Program Director. The position requires one to live on the campus. This person would supervise the houseparents and be responsible for the overall quality of care the houseparents provide to the boys. We accept boys ages 13 to 17. We prefer the candidate to have at least two years of houseparenting experience. Being that we are Boys Ranch, agricultural experience is preferred or a love for agriculture. The Joy House, a Christian home for teens located in Jasper, Georgia is currently seeking a married couple for a full-time house-parenting position in our boy’s home. No prior experience is needed, as training will be provided. Must be a mature Christian couple that has a strong desire to share Christ’s love with the teens and their families. While modeling a Christian family, we ask the house-parents to provide care, nurturing, and structure for up to seven teen boys.
