Job Description: |
Rawhide is a faith-based residential treatment center that has been in the business
of helping at-risk youth for over 40 years. During these 40 years, the role of the Resident Instructor has been
an integral part in ministering to the youth that we serve.
The RI position is a live-in position designed specifically for single ministry-minded individuals.
As a Resident Instructor, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with the at-risk youth we serve to
help support their physical, emotional, and spiritual development by:
-providing a social and moral example to Rawhide youth while
demonstrating Christian Biblical values
-assisting and supporting the houseparents with the supervision of
the living unit by supervising the household activities and administering discipline within the existing guidelines
-encouraging the physical and social development of Rawhide youth by
initiating and participating in recreational activities such as ball games, family trips, and community service projects

Job Description: |
A "mother" figure that will provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment for up to fourteen resident adolescents/young women participating in a voluntary recovery program. Provide day to day household management to include working with the girls individually and as a "family" to assist with daily chores, cooking, cleaning and supporting individual treatment plans. Support and enforce the Tulifinny philosophy of natural consequences. Have the ability/interest to anticipate and understand the individual needs of each young woman and respond appropriately in any situation and adapt easily to change.
Position requirements:
Candidate must have a minimum of one year experience as a house parent, possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, successfully pass a drug screen and background check and have completed a CPR / First Aid course with the Red Cross.
