Job Description:

Work for a Greater Good!

Professional Houseparent and life-changer for children from hard spaces. This role is the critical link for our trauma/attachment-informed boys and girls homes, the one who relationally and experientially makes the biggest difference in the lives of residents who live at Patrick Henry Family Services. Here we recognize and honor our professional houseparents because of their significance to the treatment team. If you're the kind of person who loves being trained and equipped well, can see the heart of a child in need, pursue them relationally and professionally with grit even when they aren't loving you back, you're the kind of person we're looking for. We're looking for staff who feel God's call to parenting children with tough starts, and who love to contribute to making a great team and a vision become a reality. (Ask us sometime about Zero-cubed!) We are a distinctly faith-based organization who care for children from private placements rather than DSS. If you're the kind of "game-on" couple that is looking to advance mission and vision in this Christian organization, we'd welcome a call.
