Job Description:  

Samaritan Center for Young Boys & Families is celebrating 50 years as a Christian, residential, early intervention program for boys and their families. We are located in Stuart, Florida named “America’s Happiest Seaside Town” by Coastal Living in 2016.
The Teaching Parent position requires the combined efforts of a married couple to provide for the training and supervision of the boys in care. This couple also offers training, support and encouragement to the parents of the residents. 
We believe in a team approach. A structured behavior program encourages consistency. This is a proven residential behavior management program with a private school on campus. 
Education/Experience
•    Be at least 25 years old. 
•    Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
•    Have a clean driving record and current driver’s license.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability
•    Love for serving in a ministry that honors Jesus Christ.
•    Compassion for children and families.
•    Understanding of parenting responsibilities.
•    Strong work ethic and appreciation for structure.
•    Desire to work as a team member with a teachable spirit.
•    Work within the framework of the established behavior program.
•    Be a role model for residents and their families.
•    Pass a physical examination.
•    Pass background checks and fingerprinting.
•    Must be certified in CPR, first aid and crisis prevention. Training provided.                  
•   Good communication skills and basic computer skills

Job Description:  

Collins Children’s Home is looking for mission-minded individual that wants to make a difference in lives of children by serving as a Relief Parent; residing and caring for up to 8 children when the House Parents are off duty. Relief Parents work every other weekend; Thursday – Sunday (4 days, 3 nights).

Relief Parents ensure a seamless transition for our children when their House Parent Couple is off, overseeing daily activities and maintaining the structured and supportive environment established by CCH and House Parents.
Applicants must be at least 25 years of age, have a high school diploma/GED or higher, a valid driver's license and be able to pass background checks.  Previous work with children preferred.

Job Description:  

We are seeking couples who want to make a difference in a child's life. As a houseparent, you and your spouse will be the "front line" people of our organization. Houseparent's have the general responsibility of nurturing the children in their cottage in a manner similar to which they would nurture their own natural children. Therefore, houseparents will have a vested interest in every aspect of the lives of the children in their cottage and would be expected to have a certain degree of responsibility to every phase of those children's lives at Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Homes. You will work in professional positions to provide a nurturing family style setting for up to 10 children. We have five campuses located throughout the state:

This is a live-in position for the full time staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Direct supervision of residents
•Medical/dental appointments and documentation
•Prepare daily meals
•Distribute medication as prescribed
•Transportation to events (appointments, sports, activities, etc.)
•Maintaining daily chores.
•Maintain a clean living environment (cottage, vehicles, yard, etc.)
•Administrative (weekly and monthly reports)
•Chaperone group-sponsored trips and social functions.
•Communicate with other staff to resolve problems with individual
residents.
•Determine the need for cottage & vehicle maintenance and repair, and
notify appropriate personnel.
•Direct and participate in on- and off-campus recreational activities for
residents.
•Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the smooth and orderly operation of
your cottage.
•Make regular rounds to ensure that residents and areas are safe and secure.
•Observe residents to detect and report unusual behavior.

Free Will Baptist Family Ministries' Florence Crittenton Home is a not for-profit 501 c (3) organization. The Florence Crittenton Home provides both Emergency Shelter and Long-term Residential services for at risk youth ages 13-17.
Seeking a Christian Married Couple to serve as Houseparent's in Little Rock, AR. The position of houseparent shall manage residents and cottages, functioning as a family style home while building relationships with each resident to show they are safe, secure and loved. Shall uphold codes of ethics for profession and for ministry and shall regard all information (resident, personnel, financial or business) as confidential.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
1. Possess a minimum of a high school education or GED. Additional education is preferred.
2. One (1) year experience working with youth is recommended.
3. Must relate to youth on a fair, firm and consistent basis.
4. Possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
5. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Must be 21 or older.

PRIMARY COTTAGE PARENTS

Responsibilities
The responsibility of the Primary Cottage Parents is to establish and maintain positive relationships with and ensure the best possible care for children placed in their care at all times. The position involves the combined efforts of a strong married couple in providing for the total care, teaching, nurturing, training, guiding and supervision of a specific assigned group of dependent, neglected and abused children. The couple must have a secure and healthy marriage with a distinct desire/vision to love and care for hurting children. Each couple will be responsible for six (6) children and youth (long and short term) as residents in an on-campus home.
